Dansopleidingen van Royal Academy of Dance 2017-2018

We offer a range of Full-Time and Part-Time Programmes which can be studied at the Royal Academy of Dance in London or from the comfort of your own home, wherever you are in the world. Our programmes allow students to manage their own research and tailor their learning to their own needs.

YOUR EDUCATION AND FUTURE IS IMPORTANT TO US:
Dance Education is an incredibly diverse and exciting profession. Graduates who have completed one of our Faculty of Education programmes have pursued a range of rewarding careers within dance education all over the world. As a graduate from the RAD you could be teaching dance in private dance schools, primary and or secondary schools, community settings and in Higher Education to prepare students to become professional dancers. We recognise that the landscape of dance teaching has become increasingly wide-ranging, with dance teachers working across a breadth of contexts which embrace the cultural and artistic diversity of today’s dance communities. Our faculty of Education programmes and our portfolio of Continuing Professional Development scheme activities for (registered) teachers have been designed to meet the immediate and future aspirations of dance teachers. We support students and teachers in developing their skills and expand their knowledge of the dance and dance education sector. When you become a student on a RAD programme you become part of a lifelong international learning and teaching network.

A selection of our programs:

  • Certificate and or Diploma in Ballet Teaching Studies • Certificate and Diploma in Dance Teaching studies • Bachelor in Dance Education • Bachelor in Ballet Education • Professional dancers Post Graduate teaching Certificate • Master of Dance Education • Pathway to Registered Teacher Status for dance teachers
